LA JOLLA COVE SUITES
La Jolla Cove Golf Southern California is a golfer’s paradise. The Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla, host of the Buick International, is the most popular public course. Just the name “Torrey Pines” stirs the imagination of golf enthusiasts all over the world. Located atop cliffs high over the Pacific Ocean, golfers wonder at the view of the shoreline and deep ravines. Torrey Pines boasts two 18-hole golf courses, the North and South courses.
Cove Suites La Jolla CA
This family-run 1950s-era resort, tucked in next to prime ocean-view condos across from Ellen Browning Scripps Park, is actually nearer to the sea than its expensive uphill neighbor La Valencia. La Jolla Cove – one of California’s prettiest swimming spots, is a step away from the hotel, and the to-die-for ocean view is totally unhindered. You’ll pay according to the quality of your view; about 80% of guest quarters look upon the ocean. With its arresting Mediterranean influence La Jolla has achieved a well-earned reputation as one of the most attractive resort destinations conceivable. The suites have standard features, including fully equipped kitchens, and complimentary continental breakfast. The hotel is close to San Diego’s “restaurant row,” and minutes from downtown San Diego, the airport and major area attractions. La Jolla Cove is home to pelicans, several varieties of gull and cormorants, all roosting on the cliffs at the northern
end of the bay. They are so used to people you can get within a few feet
of them. The glittering blue ocean provides a wonderful backdrop for an amazing photo experience. Since you can get so close to some birds, you can capture plenty with a telephoto or zoom lens in the 200-300mm range. La Jolla Embassy Suites
The Embassy Suites San Diego-La Jolla Hotel is located in the University Towne Center area across from Westfield Shopping Town and close to the campus of the University of California at San Diego, La Jolla Cove, the Birch Aquarium at Scripps, the La Jolla Playhouse, the Miramar Marine Air Station, the Del Mar Race Track and the Torrey Pines Golf Course. Located in the Golden Triangle biotech/high-tech region, this modern 12-floor hotel is five miles from artsy La Jolla and fourteen miles from downtown San Diego. The Embassy Suites offers a complimentary full breakfast daily, a business center, lobby café with cocktail lounge, fitness center, indoor pool, and an outdoor spa club. The 335 apartment-style suites are set around a central atrium, and each suite has sofa beds, marble bathrooms, refrigerators and microwave ovens, and high speed Internet access. Embassy Suites caters to families, and their Kid’s-Eye View program, launched in 2004 for ten cities, is growing. Now even more frantic parents across the country can get insights into what their children consider hip, hot and happening in America’s most popular family destinations. How? Embassy Suites has surveyed kids aged 6 to sixteen in family-friendly destinations around the country about the “funnest,” hang out places and coolest ice cream and pizza shops to help parents battle family vacation despair. This summer, find out what’s so “cool,” “awesome,” and “unbelievable” in 20 cities. |
