Start your life together aboard one of San Diego Harbor Excursion’s romantic San Diego cruise boats. You and your guests will “sail” through your special day without a care in the world. You can opt to have your reception with them for an extra fee. The captain will perform your ceremony on board before the celebration. You have the choice of four boats accommodating up to 350 guests.

The Barnes Tennis Center in Point Loma offers a spacious setting for your wedding. Their banquet room is 3,000 square feet with French doors opening out to a spacious patio. This room is able to accommodate between 150 and 200 guests. The fee includes set-up and use of 15 round tables that seat 10 people each, 150 chairs and up to 10 rectangular tables for food, refreshments or gifts.

Point Loma Lighthouse Wedding



Point Loma was one of the original 8 west coast lighthouses, built in 1855 in the Cape Cod style that was used for all of them. Fitted with a third-order fresnel lens, the forty-foot tower rises from the middle of the keeper’s house. Following the practice in New England, the Lighthouse Board frequently built these lighthouses high up on hills. This approach failed in the west, as the light often shone above the low-lying fog that is common along the Pacific coast, making the light useless to passing ships.
