BALBOA PARK WEDDINGS
Balboa ParkBalboa Park is a 1200-acre urban cultural park. A long, broad walkway running through the middle of the park, known as El Prado, contains many of the park’s attractions. The attractions include the Spreckels Organ Pavilion, which includes the world’s largest outdoor pipe organ, the Old Globe Theater, a copy of Shakespeare’s Globe Theater, a set of “international cottages,” and the Botanical Building with its accompanying reflecting pool. Balboa Park Wedding Balboa Park is one of San Diego’s most attractive sights making it a superb place for your special day. All you need to do is get a park use permit from Balboa Park Administration Building at 2125 Park Boulevard if you want to reserve a place for your wedding. The fee is non-refundable and only holds the date and time for a maximum of four hours’ use. Permits for particular sites are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Weddings in Balboa Park Balboa Park Administration controls all outdoor areas in Balboa Park except Del Rey Moro Garden, which is handled by the Prado at Balboa Park. Contact the special events coordinator at individual cultural attractions for information about weddings inside some of Balboa Park’s most beautiful museums.
