The relaxed and scenic city of San Diego would be the perfect place for your California wedding. Miles and miles of white sandy beaches, constant sunshine, Hispanic culture, and fun-filled outdoor diversions like Sea World and the world famous San Diego Zoo. You have more choices for the time of year you may want to get married, with the almost perfect year-round climate. In addition, San Diego has a variety of activities for the honeymoon couple.

Pacific Beach Resort and Conference Center is an ideal location for wedding receptions. They cater group sizes from 10 to 300. They have wide variety of facilities and their staff is ready and excited to help you with every step. The conference center has a stage and dance floor, with cocktail bar area if required and a foyer. The Ocean Mist holds up to 100 and offers a bar area and fireplace. It is a comfortable room for dinners, meetings and seminars. The Anchor Room has a capacity of 50, with a small stage.



If you prefer an outdoor Pacific Beach wedding, Kate Sessions Park, overlooking Mission Bay and the rest of San Diego would be perfect for you. It is a large park with decent bathrooms. You must file an application with the Pacific Beach Recreation Center no more than 6 months in advance in order to use this park. There is a maximum of 125 people. The application does not guarantee you your favorite spot – it is still first come first serve.

A beach wedding can certainly be a lot of fun. Informal weddings on Pacific Beach are beautiful, with their white arches covered in flowers and ribbons.


Start your beach theme with your invitations: a shell-shaped invitation or one that shows sea scenes will set the stage early for your beach theme. Decorate your reception and ceremony sites with seashells and colored sand sculptures.

7. Plan to fly in a few days before the main event to ensure that any paperwork is     processed and nail down final details
8. Make sure you confirm all agreements in writing before you pay for anything

Wedding Places in Pacific Beach
If possible try to book a private beach where you can have your wedding ceremony and reception and party all night if you want to. Write your vows in the sand for all to see. Extend the beach theme to your menu and table arrangements.
